TorchesAcrossAmerica

Torches Across America (TAA) is a motorcycle ride for all riders who want to show their respect to everyone who lost their lives and to the family's who lost their loved ones on that sad morning of September 11, 2001. TAA takes nine days, starting on the West Coast (Sept 3rd). Ride the whole trip, just through your state or a few miles when it comes in your area. If you can not take time to ride on the ride, everyone is welcome to be with us at any of the stops we make going across the country.

TAA Ride Update Motels My Wife And I Are Staying At

Hi Everyone,

Here are all the motels my wife and I will be staying at except for
Troy, IL. The ones putting everything together in Troy, IL, need to
know how many riders will be spending the night so they can get us the
best price. So please sign up on the www.torchesacrossamerica.com web
site for I can give them a number.

Suzanne Schneider emailed me and told me they charged her $ 115.00
plus tax at " The Holland Hotel ", (once Holland Motor Lodge), and I called them today and they
told me prices have gone up. I talked to Quentin Bristow the General Manager
and he told me when making your reservation to ask for him and to let
him know your with Torches Across America. So please call him Suzanne
for he can change yours. You can make reservations at The Holland Hotel by phone or sending an email to Quentin Bristow and the email address is,  TheHollandHotel@yahoo.com.

I can not stress this enough as we get closer to September 11, 2012,
motel rates will go up. So make your reservation now and if you can not make the trip you can
always cancel. This way you get the best price. In the case of The Holland Hotel
you will get a room but if you do not make an early reservation you might not get to stay there because it is not that big and groups do book there for 9/11/.

When calling an asking for reservations always ask for the (Torches

riders and volunteers who put it together. It is for any make, model,

Hi Gary! I am the Front Office Manager of the Fairfield Inn & Suites Tulsa Southeast, located at the intersection of the Creek Turnpike and Highway 169. We would love to set up a group rate for anyone participating in the Torches Across America Ride. My General Manger, Stacey Wyett, just sent you an email. We'd like to offer your group a $59 rate for standard kings and standard double queens, and $69 for our executive king suites, which include a king bed, full-size sofabed, mini-fridge, & microwave. Our hotel offers complimentary hot breakfast, complimentary wi-fi, and an indoor pool and hot-tub. Our property has plenty of parking & a large empty field in front if you guys wanted to have an outdoor gathering. Stacey used to manage the Courtyard Tulsa Central, who was a host hotel for the Combat Veterans Ride a few years ago, and we would love to host your group.
